One Link for Instagram, a QR Code and Flyers: Where Social and Walk-In Leads Should Land
Quick answer
Give every place a lead can find you one link that lands on a short form you control: your Instagram bio, a QR code on a flyer or at the counter, a link in a WhatsApp status. Each enquiry from that form becomes a lead on your board and a call that is due for the assigned rep, instead of a DM or a photo of a business card that someone has to remember.
Where do social and walk-in leads get lost?
Paid lead forms on Google and Meta at least arrive somewhere. Leads from your own channels often do not. Someone sees your Instagram post and sends a DM at 11 at night. A visitor at an event takes a flyer and means to call. A customer at the counter asks a colleague to "send me the price". Each of these is a real person who asked, and each one sits in a place nobody is responsible for.
- DMs are read by whoever holds the phone that day, and answered when they remember.
- Business cards and paper forms wait in a drawer until someone types them in, if anyone does.
- A link in the bio to your website home page sends people to read, not to ask.
The cost is speed. In the 2011 Harvard Business Review study "The Short Life of Online Sales Leads", firms that tried to contact a web lead within an hour were nearly seven times as likely to qualify it as firms that waited longer. A DM answered tomorrow afternoon is well outside that hour.
What does one lead link change?
In MAJ Leads, each workspace can switch on a hosted lead page at its own link. The same link works as your Instagram bio link, inside a WhatsApp status or message, and as a QR code on a flyer, a shop window or a business card. Whoever uses it fills in a short form, and the enquiry is handled like any other lead:
- It lands on the board with the source, beside your leads from Google, Meta and your website.
- It becomes a call that is due for the assigned rep, inside your working hours.
- It is chased with up to five tries: now, 15 minutes later, 1 hour later, 4 hours later, and the next working day at 12:00.
The page also limits repeat posts, so one person cannot fill your board by pressing send again and again: 5 enquiries an hour from the same phone number.
Note
What should the form ask?
Less than you think. Every extra field loses people on a phone screen. The rep needs enough to call and to open the conversation well:
- Name, so the rep can greet them.
- Mobile number, so the rep can call or message.
- What they want, in their own words: the unit, the treatment, the product, the quote.
WhatsApp is how most UAE customers expect to continue. A 2024 YouGov survey commissioned by Zbooni, reported by Communicate, found that 85% of UAE residents want businesses to use WhatsApp. A mobile number on the form keeps that door open, as long as your rep calls first and the customer agreed to be contacted.
Where should the link and QR code go?
- Instagram and TikTok bio, in place of the home page link.
- Flyers, brochures and event stands, as a QR code with one line: "Scan to ask us".
- The shop counter or reception desk, so a visitor in a hurry can leave their details in 20 seconds.
- Business cards, on the back.
For other sources that can feed the same board, see one board for every lead source, and for what happens after the first call, read the five-attempt follow-up cadence. The full flow is on how it works, and plans are on the pricing page. MAJ Leads costs AED 249 (Starter), AED 549 (Growth) or AED 999 (Pro) a month, with a 14-day free trial. A card is needed to start, and nothing is charged for 14 days.

One Board for Every Lead Source: Why Spreadsheets Lose Leads for UAE SMEs
Most UAE SMEs run leads from five or six places into one spreadsheet, or several. Here is how leads get lost between the tabs, which sources usually feed them, and what changes when every lead lands on one board with an owner and a due time.

The Five-Attempt Follow-Up Cadence, Explained
A single fast call attempt is not a strategy on its own, because most leads don't answer the first ring. Here is the full mechanics of MAJ Leads' five-attempt cadence: the named schedule, why each interval sits where it does, the rails underneath it, and exactly what happens on every outcome.
